Temporary Defeat

“One of the most common causes of failure is the HABIT of quitting when one is overtaken by temporary defeat.”

Story of a man:

If you haven’t already read Napolean Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich”, there’s a story about a guy who was looking for something and finally gave up. He then sold his equipment to the next guy. Now, the ‘next guy’ did his homework, studied charts and BAM! found what the first guy had been looking for…..about 3 FEET away where the first guy had given up.

Moral of the story?

The first guy had the idea, determination, equipment and so on. He faced temporary defeat.  I bet it sickened him to find that after all the years of work the very thing he had been looking for was only a few feet away from where he quit.
