Worship Wednesday

Wednesday

Wednesday is Wonderful

Because I take time out of my busy thoughts to Worship.

To be quite honest, I try to take time out everyday to worship the Creator I serve, but it seemed fitting to write about it as one day: just in case someone wanted to start something new. 🙂

When I take time out, it’s purposeful and thought light is focused on the words and meaning of the time I have taken out to spend in trying to connect with this entity we have many names for.

When looking to the science and reflection of emotion and inner strength I feel, I wonder as to what scholars have to say about Worship.

What do Scholars Say About Worship:

Oxford Dictionary: Worship

When My Mind Says Worship

When my mind says to worship, at times my body says dance, shout and rejoice!

Trying to sit quietly and without movement is my downfall. I want to dance to the rhythm of each melody, run around the room like a child ballerina dancing with no care in the world, or sway to the moment if I’m unable to move physically; undanceable places like church or public places when I here a good old southern gospel or worship songs.

You should see me in the car – OH My. I’ve had people stop me and give me a thumbs up while I’m driving and listening to my inner peace music.

It’s encouraging, inspiring, and takes me to new levels of my own inner strengths.

There are no verbal words to express the love I have for this time I set aside that we, in all cultures tenderly refer to as worship.

I love America for the idea of democracy and bringing us all together here in the country.

By the way, this page is dedicated to Rusty. My forever friend. RIP

Rusty’s family immigrated from Hungary – Our conversations will be missed.

The beauty is the connection –

Each his or her own worship, the majority have the same understanding of kindness to nature and humans, and spending time in a religious book we connect with, as well as quality time with family and our Creator.

When we have that time, and our souls are refreshed; continuing on the path to our own human purpose for the greater good is the only solution to feeling that spark and current continue it’s flow.

We can do that in quality, non distracted time thinking about the earth, nature, and our existence.

We can do that by thinking about the Creator of all these things and how we might fit into the plan for a better existence and life.

Thinking about our neighbors, co workers, boss, hairdresser and local business we often visit and without fault, …yes, even your mother-in-law, thinking about the good they bring to the community, your life, the office atmosphere, or your family.

If you don’t know, go ask what they are gifted in doing. Spend time finding out how they enjoy their hobby time and family time.

Let them know you were taking time to appreciate those things.

In kindness and in our own worship time.

It’s easy to say we worship or go to a religious service.

What is difficult is focusing on sister slap your face’s last comment to you before worship.

If we go to someone in person and they obviously have a problem with us, it’s so easy to take that before the crowd and how tell hateful ‘ol sister slap is to us.

Poor pitiful me. We feel, and we tell with force “I wanted to slap her back, but…” how do we take that to worship without those thoughts infecting our soul?

Again, what do the Scholars say?

Websters Dictionary – Worship

Choosing to carry on without malice or strife with sister slap your face is the ultimate goal.

When you worship, push all the thoughts away from what takes your thoughts away from the Creator.

Read the Bible before you spend time with the One it’s written about.

Before Worship, I like to think about Phil. 4:8

Whatever is pure and holy… meditate on these things.

Meditate means to ponder on or think over.

Find a quiet place preferably, but if not, just shoot from the hip and focus on the music and start giving thanks.

Yes, start with thanks.

There are 3 things to help you find your way:

  1. Give thanks
  2. Give Praise
  3. Let your requests be made known TO God. Not Pastor’s wifes’ next door neighbors best friends dog groomer: or all of the above.

Whether you’re in church service or synagogue, start with that little ways the Creator has shown you love. Thanks for the ability to visit our places of worship, and the freedom to express ourselves before the King of the World.

Whether we worship in quiet do to bridled over powering and outstretched evil in high places, or in freedom; we give thanks for the One who allowed us to be formed in our mothers womb by the ignition of atoms sparking together.

That light was ignited in the formation of our very being; whether created in freedom or in bondage, it was lit with a light so strong it breathed life into you.

Give thanks –

The Creator be praised for creating such a magnificent universe, the air we breathe, the sun for healing, the earth for life sustaining sustenance.

Give Praise –

Our requests should be humble and innocent before the throne, never boastful or prideful.

THEN Let Your Requests be made known to God.

Whichever way, I’m able to worship where ever I’m at, my mind carries me away to a place my soul longs to stay.

It’s unspeakable.

The moments in that time when the connection with this amazing Creator feels like it’s taking place is one that I long to go to but life requires something different of me.

I’m called back to reality after my time is over, but my physical being is filled up and refreshed.

What does the Bible says about Worship?

All these things go through my mind.

Worship on Wednesday by going to Pandora and connecting with me and my favorite worship songs.

Pandora lets you put together the stations songs for your own personal radio listening pleasure.

I try to take time out just for focus time and refreshing on Wed. Night around 8:00pm CST

Worship with RitaAnn~ is my little spot for that time I can personally enter in to worship.

Pandora has such a variety of music that I can even share my favorite christian worship songs with you.

Depending on your taste of music, you can set up your spot too and listen when the time is right for you. Of course you can listen anytime, and you can listen on most devices too.

This makes things easier for me when I travel so I can listen anywhere in the world on my devices if I can get wifi.
